On November 22, 2023, Deputy Jesse Hernandez, of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department, became delusional when he mistook an acorn falling on the roof of his patrol car for gun shots, and hallucinated himself being shot, as he — and his partner, Sergeant Beth Roberts — emptied their service weapons and several magazines into Deputy Hernandez’s patrol vehicle, attempting to shoot and kill one twenty-two year-old Marquis Jackson, who was handcuffed and unarmed, sitting in the back seat.
Hopefully this dipshit isn’t allowed anywhere near a firearm in the future, especially with a badge.
